思わぬトラブルがありましたが、無事にマシンタイム再開できました。
We met an unexpected difficulty, but managed to overcome it.
Measurement has already restarted.

だいぶ前になりましたが、東大浅野地区の環境整備があり、MALTスタッフも参加してきました。
Two months ago, we took part in a campus clean-up to maintain natural environment of Asano campus.

エンジェルくんスペシャルセミナー Special Seminar by Dr. Bautista

昨年１２月、松崎研出身のエンジェルくんによるスペシャルセミナーが行われました。

Dr. Angel became the first PhD as a student of Matsuzaki laboratory.

内容は彼が勤める研究所がやろうとしているプロジェクトについて。

He gave us a special seminar about the projects of PNRI he works for. 

相変わらずステキなエンジェルスマイル。

東京ではインコが野生化していて、困ったことに、季節によっては東大内でもウヨウヨ飛んでいます。東大にお越しの際は探してみて下さい。
There are a lot of feral parakeets in University of Tokyo.

第２０回AMSシンポジウム The 20th Japanese Symposium of AMS

昨年１２月、岐阜県土岐市のセラトピア土岐において、第２０回AMSシンポジウムが開催されました。

The 20th Japanese Symposium of Accelerator Mass Spectrometry was held at Toki city last month.

立派な会場（５ヶ月ぶり）。

I think I have been here.

MALTからは三代目AMS研究協会会長である、わたくし松崎浩之と、土屋、徳山両事務局員が出席しました。

日大山形さん T.Yamagata & Nichidai Students

こんにちは、ミスターです。

Hello, this is MALT.

明日から土岐市にてAMSシンポジウムが開催されますね。

さて、例年、日大の永井研の皆さんがMALTを利用してくれています。

今年もベリリウム、アルミニウム、ヨウ素と多核種にわたってAMSを用いた実験をされています。

Prof. Nagai and his students from Nihon University use MALT for multi-nuclide AMS every year.

永井研の山形さん。

Yamagata-san, an assistant of Nagai laboratory.

近年、永井研がMALTを利用する際は、山形さんに連れられて学生がワラワラやってくるため、山形軍団という名前で親しまれています。

He is called "the Red Comet" because he usually drives the red Alfa Romeo to MALT.

同位体比部会の話 Organizing Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry 2017

こんにちは、ミスターです。
Hello, this is MALT.

今年の同位体比部会の実行委員は長谷川先生とわたくしマツザキが務めました。
Hasegawa sensei and I acted as organizers of The Meeting of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry in 2017.

実行委員挨拶。

何やかやでバタバタしている内に開催時期がグイグイ迫ってきたり、

バタバタの大きな要因。

開催場所が大学からかなり離れた場所で準備が不十分だったりしましたが、

朝の渋滞のため、実質4時間。

研究室メンバーや熱川ハイツの職員の方々の奮闘があり、何とか無事に閉会しました。
Thanks to the cooperation of many people, we had finished the meeting without a hitch.

2017年度質量分析学会同位体比部会、無事に終わりました。
The Meeting of Isotope-Ratio Mass Spectrometry in 2017 was over!

宿＆会場＆温泉の熱川ハイツ

The hotel "Atagawa Heights" as our hotel, hall and onsen.

平日だったので他のお客さんが少なく、広い温泉が使い放題だったのが良かったですね。

This hotel has large onsens and sauna. We were able to thoroughly enjoy them because there were few other guests on the weekday.

昼間の発表も夜間セッションも盛り上がりました。

無事に終わってホッとしています。
