MALTぷち見学会 MALT petit tour

　SSHの高校生が来ないとブログが更新されないという根も葉もない噂を払拭するため、お盆休みを返上しての更新です。

　To deny a groundless rumor that this MALT blog is never updated without high school students, I update it during the bon festival. 

　今日は最近までMALTで技術補佐員をしていた小泉さんのお友達の方が見学にいらっしゃいました。

　先日のオープンキャンパスで用意したパネルや小物が残っていたので、それを使って説明しました。

 Koizumi-san's friends visited MALT today.

 I introduced MALT with the panels prepared for the open campus.

いろいろ質問をしてくれるので話がしやすかったです。

加速器の見学。

　夏休みの宿題に使うとか。小学６年生に説明は難しいでしょうが、この大きな装置を実際に見るだけでも刺激になるかと思います。

 The explanation is too difficult for a elementary school student, but this large machine is sure to put spur to him.

　次回オープンラボラトリは１１月に開催予定らしいです。詳細は追って連絡いたします。

 Next open laboratory will be held in November.

MALT BBQ party 2014 the second

８月のアタマくらいに行われたMALTバーベキュー大会（今期２回目）です。

川女の一人とスナディの誕生日会も兼ねることになり、大変盛り上がりました。


At the beginning of August, MALT BBQ party was held again.

This party was very exciting because it served as the birthday party for a high school student and Sunady.

大きな肉には夢が詰まっている。

I must cry roast meat!

肉焼き係エンジェルくんと中小司くん。

　いっぱい写真を撮ってはいたけど、早々に酔っ払ってしまったようでブログのルール的に使える写真が２枚しかなかった。。。

　ちょうど良い写真を募集しています。

2014 オープンキャンパス Open Campus

オープンキャンパスにご来場いただきありがとうございました！

今年はいっぱい人が集まってとても盛り上がりました。

Open laboratory was very lively this year.

パネルで研究紹介したり（ちょっと難しかったかな？）

We introduced our research with panels,

加速器の見学をしたりしました。

 and guided them around the accelerator.

松四さんと山形さんに発表を突っ込まれる高校生。

 High school students were besieged with questions and advice from Matsushi-san and Yamagata-san.

川女の関係者のみなさん、暑い中賑やかしと差し入れありがとうございました！

　すっかり風邪をこじらせてしまい更新が遅れました。

　周りにも結構風邪ひきがいるようです。

　夏風邪はバカしかひかないというし、そういうことなのでしょう。

　みなさまも十分ご注意下さい。

オープン・ラボラトリの準備 Preparing Open Labo

あくせく働いている内にオープン・ラボラトリが明日に迫っていました！

The MALT open laboratory will be held tomorrow!

　午前中は工学部経由で申し込んできた高校生がいっぱい来てくれるということなので、一般の方の見学は午後からになります。ご了承ください。

 We will allow general public people to visit MALT from afternoon.

　制御室をオープンラボ用の展示室に大改造。
 We converted a control room into a exhibition room.

良い機会なので念入りに掃除もしました。

And cleaned the room carefully.

展示室の出来栄えには中小司くんもご満悦の様子。

He was greatly pleased with the wonderful change.

展示するポスターも鋭意製作中です。
They are creating a poster exhibited in the open laboratory.

お揃いのクラスTシャツで気合い入ってます。
