第一回伊藤さんを囲む会 The Farewell Party in honor of Ito-san

この度、退官なされる伊藤さんによる講演と、伊藤さんを囲む会が行われました。

A lecture by Ito-san and a farewell party in honor of Ito-san was held.

講演のテーマは東大rapid（1.7MVタンデム型加速器）と、学生実験について。

The contents of the lecture were about rapid(1.7MV tandem accelerator) and practical training of students.

過去は変えられる！

The past could be changed!

その後、第一回伊藤さんを囲む会が行われました。

往年の仲間たちと共に和やかな雰囲気。

In a relaxed environment with his friends.

しかし、いつのまにやら何故かおじさんたちの恋愛暴露合戦へ・・・。

分析電磁石の電源の運搬 POWER!!!

分析電磁石の新しい電源が届きました。

Our accelerator is currently under maintenance.

A new power supply of analysis electromagnet was delivered to MALT.

メンテナンス打ち合わせ Meeting about Maintenance

こんにちは、ミスターです。

Hello, this is MALT.

来月まで行う予定の加速器メンテナンスについての打ち合わせを行いました。

満身創痍。直すところいっぱいです。

We had a meeting about maintenance of accelerator performed until next month.

Many parts require repairing.

打ち合わせの後、気が大きくなってユーザーを増やすための企画会議が行われました。

捕らぬ狸にならぬよう、しっかり修理、メンテナンスを行いましょう。

After the meeting, we got bold and had another meeting to increase new users.

We must work hard so that we don't count our chickens before they are hatched.

筑波大加速器見学会 UTTAC 6UD Tours

AMSシンポジウムに合わせて、筑波大に新たに導入された６UDタンデム加速器の見学会が開かれました。

After J-AMS 17, an inspection tour of new 6UD tandem accelerator was offered.

洗練された制御室。

A refined control room.

噂の交差したビームライン。

A crossed beam line.

加速器タンクを永井先生と比較しました。

A comparison between the accelerator tank and Prof. Nagai.

前の分析電磁石を利用した垂直照射ライン。

A vertical irradiation line with a previous analysis electromagnet.

懇親会でしこたま飲む The Party of J-AMS 17

今回はAMSシンポジウムの懇親会の様子です。

The party of J-AMS 17 was held in the first evening.

食べ放題、飲み放題！

All you can eat, all you can drink!

開催国の筑波加速器グループによる挨拶。

The greetings by Tsukuba AMS group members as host.

事務局代表、若手優秀賞の松中氏。

Dr. Matsunaka is a office representative.

And he won the best presentation award for young researchers.

ニュージーランドで修羅場をくぐり抜けた男の笑顔。

He faced with death in New Zealand.

He was relieved from various matters.

AMSシンポジウム初日 The first day of J-AMS 17.

筑波大学で行われたAMSシンポジウムにみんなで行ってきました。

We participated in AMS symposium held in Tsukuba University.

会場の大学会館。とても立派なポスターがお出迎え。

University hall as a meeting place and a great poster.

それぞれの座席にマイクが設置されている先端的なホール。

Microphones are equipped in each seat.

きれいな中庭。初日はいい天気でした。

A courtyard. It's windy but clear weather on the first day.

ポスター会場。参加者８０人超えの大盛況だったようです。

Poster session. The number of participants this symposium is more than 80! 

SDMコース見学会 SDM Students Visit MALT

こんにちは、ミスターです。シンポジウムお疲れ様でした。

今日はシステム創成のSDMコースの２年生による見学会が行われました。

去年に比べてたくさん参加してくれたので少し慌てました。

MALT tour for SDM sophomore class students was held today.

Participants increased a lot compared to last year, which made me panic a little.

ヨウ素の話を始めるとすかさず関連ポスターを持ってきてくれる伊藤さん。

AMSシンポジウムの話は明日以降３回にわたってお送りする予定です。

The reports of J-AMS17 was given several times after tomorrow.
